Intense two girl experience delivered great value
Playhouse Lounge is a pink rectangular building along Rt. 130 in Burlington, NJ near several car dealerships and warehouses. The parking lot is large and paved, and I've never seen the lot anywhere close to full - it almost seems like there is no relationship to parking lot crowding to how many mongers are inside.
There is a ramshackle vestibule on the highway side between the great outdoors and the club. If you enter on a sunny afternoon, be prepared for momentary blindness as your eyes adjust. No bouncer in the afternoons; instead, when you sit down, the bartender takes your $10 cover and gives you a non-alcoholic drink. I believe you get two drinks for your $10, but I never stick around for the second. They will also keep your beers cold if you BYOB, but I've never done that either. This time, I got a Coke. The venue itself is somewhat worn down; bathrooms are a little gross, the rectangular bar is old, but it's not the shadiest club I've been in. I always feel safe here. There are two stages with poles within the rectangular bar.
PHL is known for dancers that generally skew older, especially in the afternoons, and several Brazilian women. Evenings tend to have their younger lineup, but there's better bang for the buck in the afternoons with the veterans. Generally, the ladies range from a 4 to a 7 in the afternoons, and that was my experience in this visit as well. However, not much else was typical for me in this visit.
