Is what it is

After Showplace shut down, this place was a nice consolation. Various crack downs or whatever later it's not a bad place to stop in for a half hour in the ever shrinking landscape, but that's about it.

RAB is on 46. Plenty of parking on the right side and back. You walk in through the back door which is next to a little shed up a couple stairs and have to make a hard left. You come out right to a pool table and the bar runs along the far wall. The bar juts out where there is a little stage/pole area and the bar stops short of the front wall for some more seating. There is the aforementioned pool table, a juke box, and a larger-sized video game machine (seems to have golf and bowling on it).

There used to be a dedicated dance area in the front right corner next to the video game machine. I guess it still is as there is just a chair in the corner, but it is WIDE open to the bar. I think there is still a curtain between the corner chair and video game machine. But, no privacy whatsoever and sometime people just stare when there is an actual dance going on there. Probably so open that no one really does dances any more. if you do take the plunge, it is a pretty strict environment...
