First time(s) at BT

Booby Trap was the last of the Pompano Triangle that I had a chance to visit. I arrived on Halloween night around 9:30 and the place was hopping. Parking lot was pretty full - it's $5 to park in the near lot and $2 in the far lot (both were well lit and seemed safe). Cover was $10. When I sat down the waitress told me it was a two drink minimum but never bothered me again after she brought my $7 water.

The place is pretty big (not Tootsie's big but still). There's a main stage running down the middle of the room with two poles and another, narrower stage on the right side with two more. At each end of the stage is a bar. Booths line the left and right walls and in front of the second stage and there are chairs filling the rest of the space. Then there's the second floor, that's mostly composed of a balcony where one can look down at the main floor but there's also a third bar there and a little bit of seating. It offers a nice view of the action down below. Screens line the walls below the balcony, which were showing sports.

There were a lot of dancers in the house that night. Mostly Cuban or at least Latina. They'd spend four songs rotating through the four poles when called on stage. Topless by the end of the first song and nude by the end of the second. My seat below the fourth pole offered a good view of some pussy as the girls twerked or whatever. The lineup skewed a little thicker than the other Pompano clubs and with more AfroCuban or AA dancers. Most looked to be 20's to early 30's.
