Is night time the right time? 2nd night visit a bit disappointing.

Location: The Purple Orchid is located in an industrial area in Philadelphia at the corner of 61st and Passyunk. It shares a parking lot with a pool hall and another adult entertainment establishment. The potholes in the parking lot are terrible, please be careful. The building itself is a large purple cube right at the intersection of 61st and Passyunk Avenue

Layout: When you enter, there is a desk area at the left-hand side, where the cover charge($5) is collected during the evening, and where couch dances are paid for (after the fact). Just past the cover charge desk is a beaded curtain to the $20 common lap dance area. Several couches, none of them in the best of repair. Dancers usually take you to the one further away from the beads. On your right as you enter are 2 doors, each of which is a $30 private couch dance area. Those rooms are small, 4'x5', and feature a small loveseat facing a large mirror. There is a diamond shaped window towards the top of each door, but dancers can cover it from the inside by hanging their bag there.
