Couple visits

Have been coming to San Diego about monthly for work - this review based off of the most recent 2 visits. One of these days I’m gonna get to TJ instead of monthly trips to Cheetahs… just seems like too much hassle and I’m normally too busy w work… one of these days tho!

Club and vibe:

Club is located in a reasonably busy commercial area. For those taking Uber, would recommend using a bar right next-door called the bullpen as your destination if you need to be discreet. Cheetah is alcohol free by the way… So if you want to grab a drink, grab one at the bullpen. Cheetah is a small freestanding building and the parking lot feels safe. Right in the entrance there’s a desk and attendant where you pay a cover in evening. The attendant is a genuinely super happy guy and it legit seems like he’s living his dream working at a strip club. He knows me now even tho I’ve probably been less than a half dozen times. Layout is pretty normal. There’s a pole and small stage right in the middle as you enter. There’s a slight 2-3 foot space between the rail and table that surrounds the stage… A bit of a gap that you have to toss money over onto the stage. So it’s not super convenient for those who like sitting at the rail and tipping/interacting with girls while they’re on the stage. Bench/booth seating is against the walls surrounding the stage, and past the stage is the bar. Plenty of TVs and sports generally on. You can order food at the bar from the Bullpen next door and they bring it over to you. The cover also comes with a ticket that gets you two nonalcoholic drinks. Lap dance area is in the back - booths without doors, but it feels reasonably private. Girls are generally attractive and a good mix eg white black hispanic etc. Girls do a two or three song rotation where they get fully nude on stage, and be forewarned that tip walks after the rotation is the norm here so have your ones ready! Good chunk of girls who greet you with “wanna dance?”. I generally don’t love the fast push for a dance… but a simple no thanks and the girls moved on. The flipside is that the girls circulate around… So if you like the girls coming to you and to see lots of options, this place has that going for it. The lap dance norm here is 5 songs for 100. Songs are pretty quick here, so I generally make sure to ask girls to start on the next song. Dances can be mixed - some girls go topless others don’t. Ice box is $400 for 30 min and I’m not sure if it’s worth it vs $100 for 5 songs
