A decent night, but could have been better

Went to the Lumberyard on a Thursday night approximately 1 month ago. I arrived around 9:30pm and stayed for an hour or 2. The parking lot was nearly empty. The place is large with 3 stages, but when there are more dancers sitting around than visitors, it tends to be a slow night.

Dancers would take turns on the top stage for 2 songs (occasionally it would take half of a song before the next dancer would get on stage). There were approximately 10 (maybe more), but if they were not on stage, they were typically loitering or sitting around the building or upstairs. The place is extremely dark inside, so it's hard to tell at times where the dancers are located.

I spent most of the time near the stage and watching each of the dancers. Most would get topless for the first song. By the 2nd, most would get totally nude. The Lumberyard has a lot of variety. Most are 6 and 7s with a couple 9s, but there were a couple that were on the larger side. Typically, the Lumberyard has the best talent in Des Moines with Beach Girls being the only true competition. It's hard to say which is better, but i probably depends on the night.
