A Dive Bar with the quality you'd expect but not hope for
TLDR: Reread the Title
I walked in on a Monday evening with low, but not low enough expectations. Bandaids is basically your local dive bar but with a stripper pole in the back instead of darts and a few pool tables.
Upon entering my ID is scanned and am told there is no cover but the doorman "works for tips". Shrug, $2 dollar cover it is. After a sigh, I am confronted with a straight bar lined with a few patrons sitting on stools drinking and chatting with some of the girls. I grimace and head towards the back keen to keep my eyes on the TVs overhead as to not make eye contact with any of the dancers. That should give you an idea as to the quality. As I make it into the rear of the "club" there is a single 10' circler stage with seating surrounding as well as a few chairs with small tables lining the mirrored walls. There is one girl sufficient to my liking and am told the dances are $10 on the floor and $20 in the VIP (a row of sectioned off booths behind a wall overlooked by cameras and the bouncer). I get a few dances on the floor and then in the VIP of standard mileage. Nothing to write home about here and I assume nothing is on offer for those so inclined. The only reason to give this club a go would be for the budget option of $10 floor dances and decent privacy at $20 or if you just love that dive bar feel.
