I've gone to Synn for years and Deja Vu in COI before it shut down but I've never tried the Rhino until today. I was heading to Synn for their Thursday special and I was thinking how crowded it gets and the poor parking and then it hit me why not try the Rhino? The worst that could happen would be it's a bust and I head down the street to Synn or Paradise, I'm really glad I did.

The club is in a very big shopping area, it's more than just a strip mall. There's a large grocery store and fast food places so the parking lot is huge. The bouncer was dressed in a tux and he told me how many girls were there at that time (13) and even showed me a written roster of who was there. It was $14 to get in with a 1 drink minimum. He did scan my ID which I wasn't thrilled with but it isn't the end of the world, wanded me then let me into the club.

I'm used to the usual bare bones clubs in COI and OC, a big square room with little decorations and a stage in the middle. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the club decorated an old school wood paneled "club" I guess you could compare it to an old school steakhouse too. The stage was a decent size with two poles and a large leather ottoman in the middle. There were the usual chairs a the tip rail and tables with chairs scattered around. Beyond those were booths like you would find at a decent restaraunt and curtains. I'm didn't ask but I'm assuming those could be purchased like a regular night club on busy nights. Lighting was on the darker side for a club, I'm guessing it's because they want that old school feel.
