Things are looking up!

Stopped by Oasis on a recent Thursday night around 8:45pm. Club is located near the airport with car dealerships and off-site airport parking across the street and nearby. Parking lot is well lit and I have never felt unsafe. The last couple times I have been have been on Wednesday nights, and it was pretty boring at Oasis. That said, this place can be very hit or miss, so I continue to stop in occasionally hoping for a hit.

On this Thursday night there was a $10 cover. Initial thought was "ouch!" However, you got a free drink ticket, which was more valuable than expected. More on that later. Empty phone and keys from pockets and go through metal detector and into club.

Main part of club has not changed recently. Walk in and there is a large rectangular bar with two stages and two poles in the center of it, similar to many Philly area clubs. There are booths along the right side, but I've never seen them occupied. Maybe on a Saturday night if there is a bachelor party or something they get some use. Above the booths are two enormous projection TV screens. One had baseball playoffs on, the other had the Thursday night NFL game. I always sit on the side of the bar where you can watch the games. Bathrooms are over your left shoulder as you walk in. Clean enough. No attendant. Weirdly, no urinals. All toilets in stalls with no doors. Luckily I have never had to drop a duece there.
