Monday Night at Ricks
This review is for both a Monday and a Tuesday last week. I was in Dallas for work and decided to stop by and check out a club and honestly decided on going to Ricks after seeing the coupon for free admission on their website. Walking in the door was a pretty woman working and told me that along with getting in for free with my coupon that if I wanted dances I'd need to pay for a wrist band which was $20. The wrist band had $25 written on it signifying dances cost $25 each.
When I walked in the club it was about 9:45PM and it was DEAD. I could count the number of customers there on one hand. I noticed many dancers sitting in chairs grouped together on their phones, there was a dancer on stage though. I walked up to the bar and ordered a tall whiskey coke which cost about $8 which I thought was a fine price. As soon as I got my drink and sat at the bar a beautiful dancer approached me and we started talking for about ten minutes, I asked her about getting some dances and she told me I needed the wrist band which I had and that each dance is $25.
The dancer led me to the lapdance area, which is very open to the rest of the club. So when you walk in the doors straight ahead is the bar at the other end of the club, between the entrance and the bar off to the right in the middle is the stage. off to the left is seating with tables and chairs (where the dancers were sitting together that I described earlier). Behind the chairs and tables still off to the left as you come into the club is the lapdance area. Each lapdance area is a couple feet wide with walls on the side so you can't see others to the left or right of you, but you have a clear view of whats in front of you and the rest of the club can see into your lap dance area very easily.
