Whole Lotta Love

After pulling into the parking lot that's shared with the bar next door, I turned my car off and debated whether to wear my hat, knowing that they're the only club in the area that asks you to remove it when you enter. I wore it anyway, thinking I'd stow it by the cashier where I have before. But the old guy who took my money said "I'm supposed to ask you to remove your hat, but you're bigger than me, so what can I say." So the hat stayed on. Three cheers for being overweight.

I've only been to Kittens in the daytime, so I'll describe it in the daytime. By the register are bathrooms. They are clean. After you pay you're in the corner of a square-ish room. At the opposite corner is the one stage used in the daytime. In front of the stage are small tables and chairs. Padded benches line two of the sides of the room. A little behind one of the benches is the entrance to the lap dance area. Lots of big padded chairs. There are VIP rooms but I've never been in one here. Overall, very standard stuff for Seattle. The one thing that sets Kittens apart is how much darker it is than other clubs.

I guess the other thing that Kittens is known for is how aggressive the dancers are here. Before I could even sit down, Love was asking if she could sit on my lap. She's a petite black woman (30s maybe?) with large upgrades on top. Suddenly her hand was on my pants and she put my hand in between her legs. That's one sales strategy I guess. I've heard good reports of her so I didn't mind too much, but I did look around the room to see if anyone else looked appealing enough to make me want to tell her to check on me later. I only saw two other girls, one topless on stage and one looking at her phone on the other bench. I decided to let Love talk me into some dances. She said 1/$40 or 3/$100, standard Seattle prices.
