First time visit

I have come to know most of the NNJ clubs over the past decade, but Roxxies was one of the few clubs I had never visited. Well I FINALLY checked the box on this place recently.

The location in Paterson is more commercial than residential, with various street parking options nearby and a dedicated parking area for club patrons. No charge, no valet. Some of the nearby side streets seemed a bit deserted and possibly unsafe, though you'd probably be fine if you can find a spot on nearby busy Crooks Ave.

Inside the club is modestly big but rather boring. It's just one big area with a large rectangular bar/stage and seating all around. No other seating options whatsoever. The lighting was OK but a bit too bright. It wasn't crowded, about 10 patrons. There were 4 dancers on stage at a time, and about 10 or so total this evening. They were all white, slim, decently attractive, I would estimate in the 25-35 age range. No stunners, average quality with most in the range 7.5 - 8. Bartenders were friendly with quick service. I had a juice for $6. The dollar parade is light and reasonable.
