First time here. The security is a little over the top. They want you to walk in this cattle pen inside the front door and wait to be invited to the cashier to pay the 10$ cover. Then you wait in another pen to be escorted to a table or barstool. So I play along, ask for the bar, order a Dos Equis draft for 6$ and before I even turn around from the drink order, before the drink even arrives a skinny young blond bitch is asking me if I want a dance. Yeah maybe later but right now I’m waiting for my beer. Seems the barstool I was given is behind one of the only spots on the floor where girls congregate and talk which wouldn’t be so bad but they have their backs to me, and are even too close to see their asses. I am craning my neck to see the stages, there are three, and they seemed to do a good job keeping girls rotating through at all times. It’s a large room and seems decent, the ceiling is weirdly low in spots and it’s dark and loud but otherwise a good room. So I stand up and wander over to a corner so I am not stuck behind the group of girls and am immediately accosted by staff, apparently one can’t just stand in the corner or mill around here. You have to have a chair and stay in it. It wasn’t hard for me to just say nah I’ll just bounce. Sitting on the retaining wall outside the front door is also forbidden while ordering up my car. Dick asked me to walk down the sidewalk away from the entry. The draft beer tasted like feet, probably haven’t cleaned the tap in forever. So in and out in less than 5 stage songs.
