Early Monday Afternoon

I visited Bare Elegance on Monday afternoon September 23, 2024 from about 12:45 to 2:15. Club is near LAX airport on Imperial Highway just east of where it passes under the 405 and 105 freeways. It is a commercial street in an otherwise residential area. The club has a walled parking lot that has valet parking at busier times but was just self parking while I was there.

It’s a standalone square building. Entering on the east side you pay a cover, $10 at this time. It’s collected by the DJ as you see this booth just behind him when you pay. Then through a turnstile into the main room which is pretty dark so it took awhile for my eyes to adjust. The bar is in the southeast corner, they have a waitress and I ordered bottled water which was $10 for a very ordinary bottle. They do have a kitchen and it looked like another customer was having a substantial lunch. Men’s restroom on the south wall, not large but clean. Stairs in the southwest corner led up to “Sky Boxes”. No video screens,, a bunch of paintings of dancers in various stages of undress were on the walls. Some colored lights.

All in all this is not a particularly large place. There are 3 stages. A circular stage with one pole in the center of the room surrounded by about a dozen stools, not chairs. A railing on the stage a bit in from the edge. Jutting out from the north wall is a rectangular stage with two poles, and entrances in back for the dancers to make their appearance. This was also surrounded by stools. Finally a small single pole stage in a sort of random position in the room. Small table with chairs filled most of the room. There were booths along some of the walls and one multi person booth near the circular stage. Some of these were reserved by being roped off. While I was there only the larger circular stage was used.
