Back to Being Mediocre

I've been to Bare a handful of times since my last review in January. At the time of that review, things were on the low but they were still tolerable. Don't get me wrong, I really want to like Bare. It's near the airport and super convenient for LAX arrivals / departures / layovers. It's a nice club, seems to have a reasonable clientele and feels safe. During the last nine months, I've had a couple of visits where there has been some really phenomenal talent. Unfortunately - this was NOT one of those nights.

So I paid the customary $20 entry fee. Couldn't seem to find my free entry card but they didn't care. I also paid the parking guy 6 bucks. I sat down with my buddy and we paid 10 bucks each for a coke and water. We decided to sit at the rail so vultures wouldn't attack. Tipped maybe $5 a girl for 2 set songs. The problem with this place is the aggressiveness of the girls that are less attractive and just outright annoying so if you want to avoid that sit at the stage and tip. Anyways, sat at stage for a handful of girls and then found a seat. The birthday girl was super cute and did a great stage but she was preoccupied celebrating her birthday and wasn't really engaging.

The place was packed with groups of 4 or 5 customers that night so many of the seats were taken. Was hard to find 2 seats together without buying a table which kinda sucks. Odd to me were there weren't many girls sitting with the groups of guys. Girls were congregating at the bar and in back, but not with customers. The talent that eve was mostly 6-7s latinas, whites with a couple of 8s and a smoking hot AA named princess but she disappeared after her stage - would have definitely sought her out.
