Successful visit on Saturday night
I was in the area for a couple of days with a very busy schedule and had Ebony Inn on the list of things to do. I put it in my GPS on Friday night, and the GPS said that it closed at midnight. I tried again on Saturday night and GPS said that it closed at midnight. So, I arrived on Saturday around 1130pm, after unsuccessfully trying 3 times to find working Bank Of America ATMs en route. I pulled into the lot across the street and asked the guy collecting cash for parking what time the club closed, he said 3 am. I felt relieved and doubled back to find a working ATM. Apparently, the club needs to update its business hours with Google Business. I made it back to the parking lot around midnight and paid 10 to park.
Cover was 20 with a pat down inside the door. The bar area wasn't very crowded, but it took what seemed like forever to get a drink. I ordered a cocktail with house liquor for $14. The bartender took her sweet time getting back to me as if I was leaving her a $6 tip. After returning my change, I did tip her, but not $6!
After finally getting my drink, I walked up the steps into the room with the dancers. I think this is the most run down club I have ever seen! But, this is not the place you visit for ambiance. The chairs are mix-matched and dirty, tables are half-broken. The floors and walls are faded and stained. The club was about half-packed with customers and almost 30 dancers that I could see throughout the club. There were 2 girls dancing on the big main stage in the center of the room. They were mediocre looking.
