Watch Out For The Scam
Stopped by here on a Tuesday afternoon after having visited Johnny A's about 20 minutes away. After being bled dry by that typical insane and infuriating dollar parade, it was somewhat refreshing to only have to deal with 2 dancers coming over every 10 minutes or so, but otherwise the experience wasn't much to write home about. There were about 8 or 9 girls working, all between a 5 and 7, and from what I could tell exclusively foreign of some sort of Hispanic ethnicity. After about 15 minutes I was approached by whom I considered to be the most attractive dancer in the place, a relatively buxom Dominican brunette named Cynthia. She asked me if I wanted a lap dance and, although she didn't blow me away, I did want to partake in one before I left and there really wasn't anyone else I would have considered so I decided to go for it. It turned out not to be a good decision.
There was the standard mutual touching and she occasionally stick shifted, but nothing went on that threatened to violate the rules of the club. I didn't officially time how long we were together, but after it had definitely been longer than 5 minutes, I noticed that she had not yet asked me if I wanted to continue which is what they are SUPPOSED to do after each song (and this length of time tends to vary by individual dancer/club) so I asked her how many songs we had done to that point. Her response was 5. There was no frigging way we had been back there for that long even if one "song" had been defined to be 3 minutes long. I tried to argue the point and that was when she defaulted to the "I don't understand English" approach to make it seem like she had no idea what I was saying. Even though I could have just handed her $40 or $60 and walked out, I did not want any trouble so I very reluctantly gave her the full $100 and stormed out of the place, most likely for the last time.
The same thing happened to me at Satin Dolls' sister club, AJ's, the last time I visited that place. The girl I selected for a dance kept going without asking me if I wanted to extend for another song an$$d then told me I owed a ridiculous amount of money relative to the actual cumulative elapsed time. So I don't know if this is their new scam game to get much more $$$ out of customers than they deserve, but if any of you happen to visit either club and the girl you get a private lap dance from does not ask you if you want to continue after about 4-5 minutes, it would be in your best interests to speak up so that you don't get ripped off like I did. Obviously I have only myself to blame for this, but I have been going to strip clubs for nearly 30 years and never encountered this type of situation until very recently.
