Vivide is still the standard in ATL
After a months-long hiatus from what had been the Mecca of high-mileage dances in the ATL, I decided to drop into Vivide early Friday afternoon to do my own evaluation of the place — given the reported rules changes and the dispatches that seemed to indicate less fun was available to be had, according to some PLs.
The Good News, my friends: Ultra-high-mileage dances remain the standard here, at least on this early Friday afternoon.
I arrived at Vivide about 1:30 p.m., and parked in the $10 parking area. A light pat down and another $10 bill for entry and I was in. Upstairs didn’t seem to be open yet, and a peek down at the lower bar revealed a small crowd and only a few dancers, maybe 10 or so.
