Return to the Riveria
Out for a friend's bday night. So after being disappointed with Clancys I decided to check out my old spot Riviera Loungue in Hackensack. I used to live in the area and would frequent this place alot. For a while I thought the place was going to fall victim to Covid, but the owner too the time to update the place a little bit.
So we arrive at 12:15 and park in the back parking lot. We enter through the back door. It's hallway that has a old kitchen to the right which I have seen operational but it was not in use tonight. To the left is the managers office. A little further down the hall you get the entertainers dressing room. At this point it opens up to the bar. It's a square bar with a square stage in the middle. 1 pole and a support column masquerading as a stripper pole on the stage. Each corner has cash register. Right across from the dancers dressing room is a pool table. That pool table always has someone on it and it did tonight. Around the perimeter on the right side you have some brand new U-shape booths.maybe 3. They look kinda nice. Nothing fancy just new and fresh. On the wall directly across from the booths They have some high tables with high chairs. All of this with about 8 tvs playing the games on them. They redid the walls it's doesn't feel like the 70s in there anymore, but it's definitely not modern. It fits the owners style.
They had about 7 girls working. Didn't get any names. This is kind of a regulars spot and the time we got there the ladies was mostly tied up. Girls weren't really on their phones like in other places. They were in conversation with the patrons and making their rounds on the dollar parade which is light. You sit on the opening of the bar you get a little extra contact. I was surprised it was open. I put my buddy there it was his bday after all. The ladies pretty much had overdone bolt ons. Front and back. Mostly Latinas. Faces ran the gamut. Nothing horrible but no miss universe candidates. All in all it was a good time. Lap dance are in the front corner which are still $20. Security guard would peek in from time to time. Modellos was flying. Looked like they had a special $4 each. Mixed drink was $9 I believe. Not a waste of time but I'm figuring out I am more of a day shift kind of guy. Happy Hunting
