Slow Wednesdays at the GB.

I visited the World Famous Golden Banana while I was driving home from Boston on a Wednesday. This was my first time at this club and I would say my experience was pretty average. I think this club has some potential, but Wednesday night was dead. Not the worst outing ever but wasn't encouraging either.

I pulled up at probably 8PM. When you go in there is a bouncer sitting at a desk. I paid the cover and than had to go through a metal detector. I actually kept setting it off multiple times until he said f-it and just let me walk in. I think the cover charge was like ten bucks.

Basically the layout is bar to the right, a big stage in the middle, lap dance area is to the left. The venue is clean and upscale on the inside. I went to the bar and ordered an IPA. I would say there were five dancers working that night, looks wise they ranged from 6 - 8. The dancers were all taking turns doing stage sets and most of the patrons were just hanging back in the seats or chillin at the bar. I was the only person near the stage. I would estimate there were probably 7-8 patrons in establishment.
