Still in decline
I stop by periodically hoping that something will change at the 19th and go back to its glory days. Mostly it gets worse. I will spare the details about the expansive parking lot, dilapidated building, $5 cover charge, miserable guy at the front desk and stage layout. All these details have been covered ad nauseum.
I was in the area on a Saturday night around 930 and the parking lot was packed. Stopped by hoping to find some excitement. I was greeted by being wanded and paying the cover. Took u a seat among the other patrons, most of the bar seating was full to my surprise. I was able to finally get a beer after quite a wait. Exactly what would it take to get an attentive and attractive bartender at this place? There were 12-15 girls working, predominantly AA and an older Latino for a change. Most had taken up residency at the bar with regulars or working a "potential victim". I cannot understand how these girls can broaden their customer base if they are not mobile. Anyway, I had some interest in Uma again, She is older tan and tone blonde MILF with a smaller fake rack and an unbelievable ass. She was seated at the bar in front of the DJ booth with what appeared to be a bachelor party working her magic with the old shoulder rub move.
Suddenly the music stopped, just the incessant chatter going on. No dancers on stage or making the rounds. No apparent concern by the management or staff that there was no music. This quiet continued for a few minutes then the stutter of music and the music stopped again. This continued for 15-20 minutes, seems like music is a crucial part of the business, but maybe that's just me. I finished up my beer and made my way to the door. Saved myself some further disappointment and a few dollars. We will hope for better luck next time. I will keep you posted
