Higher Prices Same Club
Visited Gold Club late on Wednesday afternoon as it’s now 30 dollar lap dance day, used to be 20 when standard dancers were cheaper. The club is still unchanged but for those who are unfamiliar the layout is as follows. The club is off of Route 40 right next to Chaps Pit Beef which shares a lot with the club. Lot has ample free parking and is well lit. Most patrons park to the side of the club. There are spots in the back but employees and dancers use those and I’m not sure if they’re exclusive for employees as I e always parked elsewhere.
The club has a set of wooden double doors for an entrance on the front of the building facing the street. You enter into a small lobby with a small counter shop selling lingerie and occasionally used to collect covers during events. There’s a metal detector but since there’s typically no one manning that lobby during the afternoon you can proceed down the small hallway going through or around it. The hallway takes you to the main room of the club.
The bouncer is typically in this room right by the hallway at the back bar counter. He’ll check but not scan ID and collect the cover, if any applies at the time. I believe it’s a two drink minimum per policy but in practice I’ve never seen this enforced here. The room is spacious with two bars at either end of a rectangular room. The back bar where the bouncer is is typically unmanned besides for him while the one at the opposite end is crowded and staffed. The stage is long between the bars with rail seating for those interested. There are some high tables and chairs along one side of the room and the other side has more comfortable chairs on the other side. The ceiling and pole are very high and this club is definitely on the spacious end.
