Same service but more upsell

Back in Philly for my quarterly meeting and swung by Playhouse on my drive back. Quick summary: saw some new dancers, got same level of service but only with more upsell. Seems like that is the new norm?

Quick formalities: Playhouse is conveniently located off Rte 130, Pink Building with plenty of parking. During day, no cover and $10 gets you 2 waters. Large rectangular bar with plenty of seating to watch woman dance inside bar area. $1 tip parade is constant but women are content to give you a preview and move on. Private dances in the back are $30 for 4 minutes that a monitor will count out for you. (btw while i was getting a private dance, someone was up to 29 dances in room 1!)

I came on a Thursday afternoon and settled in as based on phone schedule there were several dancers I was hoping to see (Andrea, Devon, Sharon, Kiera, Lena) and I didn't want to rush into anything. But as I only visit every few months, it seems that phone schedule is not that reliable as most of the women were not there. Not sure what's up with that but a bit annoying. On other hand, I noticed a bunch of new dancers: Anna, Sasha, Jennifer amongst others. Isabella stopped by for dollar parade and while she is one of the most attractive dancers there with a smoking body, she didn't ask if I wanted a private dance nor did her barside grind provide any hints to what the private dance would be like (if anyone has any intel, please let me know). Kiera stopped by and while I've had plenty of good dances with her, I thought I might venture anew and focused my attention on Anna (cute petite italian with glasses) or Sasha (another petite dancer with a very nice body). Eventually I took up Sasha's offer for a private dance. We started up with a standing grind that definitely got the motor running. We eventually sat on the bench and she started the PH handshake but then said it would require an extra tip. Her initial request was outrageous and I countered by offering an extra dance as a tip. She said it would be two and I agreed as my little head was getting excited. Two dances plus the tip and mission accomplished. But to be honest, I know that I could have gone with Kiera or one of the other vets, not gotten the upsell and just tipped because I wanted to, so lesson learned. Net/net - Playhouse still provides same level of service but seems like based on other reviews and my experience, there's more upsell/tip requests. It's still a good experience but for someone that's been going to PHL for years, it's a bit of an eye-opener that things are moving in this direction
