Not what I was hoping for.
Went on a Thursday night. Cover was $25 to enter, which was not bad. Club had a standard set up which was a main stage in the middle with stools all around, a bar, and some booths off to the side. I sat at the stage and tipped for about 10-15 minutes. I’d rate the girls a solid 7, not as good as what you can find in some of the upscale Vegas clubs, but definitely one of the better ones in the Bay Area. The stage seemed a little darker than normal as it was tougher to get a good look at the ladies.
I noticed that none of the girls approached me which is strange since in most clubs, they ask me for dances when I get in…assuming my wallet is full at that point. I was told that I could just ask the security guard to get the girl if I knew her name. I did so and got a dance.
This is where the club lost me. I was quoted $80 for a single dance (~5 min). But it was basically an air dance. So I was in a little booth chair and had a minimal contact dance. Security was watching like hawks so I knew they were strict about that. If I’m paying that much, I’d rather not sit with my hands glued down on the side and watch the girl. There’s more contact at Vietnamese coffee shops in San Jose (and some of the girls work there too). Also, while she was dancing, minimal eye contact and effort.
