Getting my Red Shoe Diaries David Duchovny on at Torpedo's

It was too long since my last visit to Torpedo's. It's a 21+ bikini bar where the dancers and customers are mostly Latinos, reflecting the town it's in. The back of the bar is the train station parking lot, where I parked when I arrived at around 12:40am. The entrance is along the main drag of Bound Brook.

Walk in, no cover and I didn't get an ID check. You're immediately at one end of a rectangular bar, seating all around. To the left and up some steps are the pool tables (mostly all being used) and the ATM (I think $400 max and $9.75 charge each time). Left of that is the lap dance room, which has about 8-9 wooden benches with dividers on the side. There is one VIP room for 15 minutes of action at a time.

I took a seat at the bar and took in the show. Tonight the lineup wasn't as great as my last visit. Mostly 5/6s working with a few 7 ups. The stage is inside the bar and about 3-4 girls occupy it at a time. No real dance routines, just side to side shimmying. I get a Modelo for $6 and change a couple 20's into singles. After the dancers leave the stage, they go around for a tip parade and even the girls who hadn't been dancing walk around for tips. I mostly ignore those. Dancers stay in their lingerie/bikins, never taking them off.
