Weird Place, Close to Great, But Way More Weird Than Great

I've been meaning to get to La Vida and this was the night. I'd never been up there before. The club is located right in the middle of a bunch of industrial yards with trucks coming in and out. It's pretty GTA around there but it's not an area where random people would just be walking around. There's plenty of street parking right in front and there's an armed guard at the front. It's safe enough for sure.

When I approached the front, the security guy was super cool and friendly. He did a quick pat down and I paid $20 to enter. The inside is a little odd. Most of the seating is a long bench that runs the length of the room in front of the stage. There's another smaller row of seats and just a couple individual tables. They could definitely fit more tables in there and make it feel more full.

So I found the one empty table with 2 chairs and sat down. It took about a minute for the waitress to hit me up to buy a drink. I bought a $10 water which seems to be the norm. I tried to tip her but she handed me my change and ran right off. Immediately a sexy dark haired dancer came over, sat down on my lap, and pulled both my hands around in front of her.
