Nice Return Visit

Another return visit, this one much better than the last, during latest business trip to Crystal City. Easy walk from my hotel, I got the last open seat at the bar at the end of the room with a good view of the stage. Tables were probably ¾ full. There was a price list for private dances on the bar but I don’t recall the prices. I'll be sure to remember next time. Regardless, I’ve had one private dance here, maybe 15-20 years ago. It was a boring air dance, albeit with a looker, and I can’t imagine that has changed. I have not seen someone go back for a private dance in a long time.

Sports/ESPN on the numerous TV screens around the long rectangular room. But I come here for the decent eye candy and cold beers, not the TVs. This particular Thu evening had a very decent line-up of about 12 dancers. Two were 8-9’s in my book, tight bodies with nice sensual moves on stage. The rest were probably 6-7’s with the usual couple of 3-5’s.

I’ll repeat my usual complaint of dancers doing anywhere from less than one song sets to maybe a song and a half, and often much of the time on stage is spent wiping down the mirror or poles. So with that kind of frequency, the dollar parade is nearly continuous. Most of the dancers are happy to chat for a moment when they come around but will quickly move on if you don’t engage. A commenter on my last review said you are not forced to tip them and technically that is true. But my experience is they stand there until you do tip and I've never been one to say "sorry, I don't want to tip you" when it's only a couple of bucks.
