Day Shift has some Gems
I visited TJ Showgirls on a Friday around 5p.m. with a $20 cover charge and an $8 drink minimum, which felt overpriced for what was offered. The club was oddly quiet for a Friday with only a few patrons and very little happening—no one seemed to be tipping or getting lap dances. The DJ could use some improvement as well, focusing more on the music and less on jokes. This is a strip club, not a comedy show.
The dancers were a mixed bag. Some had great bodies but weren’t the most approachable or conversational, while others were more engaging with attractive looks and a friendly attitude. However, some dancers approached with little effort to connect and just asked outright if you wanted a lap dance or VIP, which felt rushed. One dancer, in particular, didn’t pick up on the signals and sat next to me in silence for too long, which became awkward and made my experience unenjoyable.
The club itself is nice, The staff and dancers were generally welcoming, but the overall energy of the place could improve. Private dances are priced at $40 for one song, with options like two songs for $40 in a semi-private area or more private packages: three songs for $80 and five songs for $120. The VIP room, which offers more privacy and a bed, starts at $150 for 15 minutes and goes up to $250 for 30 minutes.
