Foxy’s is everything that you would expect a club on a side street in Coney Island to be. A mix of culture, chaos and “uniqueness”.
When you walk in you’ll meet a bouncer who will ask for cover ($10-$30). When you walk upstairs you’ll see a small bar and a few stages in the middle of the floor. The girls are average, the drinks are average and the music is pretty bad. Some will throw money (most won’t) and you’ll see a mix of local characters, European men and the occasional Jewish man.
Drink prices seem fairly standard for NY and dances are much different than the possibilities of Manhattan. I don’t believe there’s much to find in this place.
Long story short, don’t waste your time here unless you have no other options. Otherwise you should head into Manhattan or NJ for better talent.
