Still the best place!

Brass Rail Tavern
701 Yonge St Toronto, ON M4Y 2B2, Canada
Actually visited 2 nights in a row. Thursday night was a little slow but staff and dancers were all on hand to help you have a great time. Friday was busier and good to see. My guess covid took a toll on the business and the economy probably has given it another hit but the Brass Rail is still offering a great night out for those looking to spend some money and have a great time. The common complaints I hear are drinks are too expensive, they push you to purchase drinks and the dancers are too pushy as well. Rubbish. The main business model for the main part of the Brass Rail is pretty simple, there is no cover so the only way for the Rail to make money is to sell drinks. As far a price I think they are reasonable as pretty much any place in Toronto is expensive for a drink and in the case of the Brass Rail you are also getting a shoe for that price. There are always dancers on stage and most nights even a feature dancer. So plenty of bang for your buck if you are only there to have a few drinks. The only way the dancers make money are to offer private dances so yes expect to be approached by every girl to sell a private dance. All you have to do is say no. I've never had an issue with any girl when I told them no, I assume they appreciate not having to waist time on me and move on to the next customer. I usually come to the Brass Rail to see one particular dancers, so yes I do enjoy the pvt dance side of the business and would recommend others do the same. If the dancers aren't making money then soon there would be no dancers. The Brass Rail also offers other options for those that want to spend more money like The Upper Brass, The Mezzanine and PVT VIP/Champagne Rooms. These all offer you a more VIP, private and personal feel. I did not check out the Upper Brass or Mezzanine this time round but I did take my favorite dancer into a VIP room this time. First time experience and it was awesome. It's pricey but definitely worth it. You still have to follow the regular rules of regular PVT dances but it's in your own pvt room so makes things more comfortable and relaxed. If you have extra money to spend I definitely recommend. To sum it all up, I am definitely looking forward to visiting the Brass Rail again on my next trip to Toronto.
