First the usual.
Enter through a metal detector. Be careful as I wear a belt and this does pick up the belt buckle. Gentleman at the door was respectful however.
Go through the doors and the usual two bars at the right. Bars were very crowded with patrons but not really enough dancers. I would say maybe 7 in the club but unsure. There was one dancer on stage, a short Spanish woman who was very attractive. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. She also gave me the option for drink card which I politely declined.
Monday afternoons are not the best time to visit Desire as there seems to be a high male to female ratio. I have been to the club on Friday evenings and it is much better chance to meet someone.
Overall I struck out and there wasn't anyone I found interesting. That does not mean it's a bad place. Far from it. I would say Desire is the better club in Providence IMO. As usual your mileage may vary.
