It still gets the job done, but literally just barely.

I have been to Cajun's a number of times over the years and although it hasn't been flashy, it has more often than not gotten the job done.

That still happened my last visit this summer on a Thursday night, but it just barely this time. I rolled in around 8PM and there was no bouncer at the door and nobody asking money (their usual $15 cover at that time.)

I walked in and heading to the bar in the back that usually served unlimited soft drinks with the cost of the cover and no one was there at the start. Soon after, the bartender walked out and very nicely asked me what I wanted and I tipped her and stayed seated at the bar and pretended to watch whatever meaningless show was on the TV.
