I recently visited Chicas Bonitas and it was a bit of a mixed bag. Parking is $10 in a gravel lot with poor lighting and the cover charge is about $12 with ID checks at the door. The interior is showing its old decor and a generally rundown feel. The main stage is in the middle and there's a smaller stage off to the side, but neither adds much to the atmosphere. The dancers varied quite a bit. Some were engaging, but others seemed disinterested. If you get a chance to see Sofia though, she's great and treated me well and put on an impressive show. If youre in the area and dont mind a less fancy spot it might be worth stopping by especially if Sofia's on stage.
