Not the worst experience I have ever had at a strip club, but a close second.
I walked in not long after opening time and the place was still dead. Not a single dancer on the stage and the bartender was scrambling to get the place set up for the evening. There were a couple of gals hanging out at a table trying to plan a birthday party for another dancer. Eventually a girl came to the bar to chat me up. The bartender immediately asked me if I wanted to buy her a drink, so I got us each a round. We chatted for a bit. But the bartender was very pushy, so I started to slow down on my second drink. The gal chatting with me seemed nice enough so when she inevitably asked if I wanted to do a private dance I agreed to give her a chance, because there was literally nothing else to do there. The lap dance was nothing more than her sitting on my lap and making more small talk. It was no touching of any kind and not even the removal of her top unless I wanted to throw in another $40 on top of what was already spent for a basic lap dance. Very little movement and so I called it after one song. I went back to the bar and the place still seemed very disorganized with not much going on. I think there was maybe one other customer at this point. Eventually one of the girls got on the stage and so I went up to throw a few bills at her. She pretty much ignored my efforts, so I left feeling a bit disappointed. Maybe I hit there on an off night, but I did not have fun at all and I don't think I will be coming back in order to find out.
