Found my Cuban crush

I stopped by Chicas Locas on a Thursday afternoon. It had been a couple of years since I had frequented the place. I had been going to higher standards bars like Baby Dolls since right after the whole COVID fiasco.

The place looked exactly like I had just left. The main floor is dimly lit but clean and full of girls filtering around or camped out in small groups at tables. There is a main stage and two small satellite stages that the dancers cycle through. The bar maids were friendly and quick to get me a drink. Cover was nine or ten dollars, I believe.

I don't speak any Spanish, but that hasn't been a big problem here. Most dancers speak the basics of English or are deft with the phone translation app. Cubans girls have taken over most of the clubs in Texas. For the most part, I am cool with that. They do, sometimes, have trouble counting songs correctly. But, most Cuban girls can be fun and accommodating.

This day, the club was full of about a dozen girls. Most where in the 6 to 8 range with a few stunners mixed in. I grabbed a beer and stood at the bar watching the stage and checking out the talent. Every few minutes, a new girl would walk up to me and ask my name and if I would like a dance. They were all cheerful and didn't object when I chose to wait for awhile. I was in the mood for something particular and hadn't seen it yet.

Abruptly, there she was. I didn't even see her until she bounced up to me. Petite and bubbly with a really nice, athletic body and a pretty smile, big and beautiful eyes... Just what I was looking for.
