Some of the Prettiest Women on the Block, but Fix the AC!

I stopped by early on Friday (around 2pm) to see what the place was like.  There was only one other customer (an older white guy) when I arrived, but 3-4 other (older white) guys showed up eventually.  The place was boiling as the AC was busted, and the fans weren't getting it done in this basement club on the Block, especially during the heat wave.  Maybe that was why most people appeared in a dour mood.

There's a bar counter that wraps around the stage, which has a pole in the middle.  The bartenders work in between you and the stage, which is a weird set-up.  The music was blaring, which meant everyone was shouting at each other.  There's the usual, mandatory tip walk, but $1 should suffice unless you are interested in the girl.

There was no cover, no ID check, and no ID scanner.  The doorman/guard/bartender Scott is a friendly and genial dude.  The other male bartender, Rob, is also friendly if excitable.  Both are very likable guys.  The bar equipment wasn't working, though, in addition to the broken AC, so the guys were having a tough time.  A third bartender named Dream eventually joined.  She had short hair and a maternal demeanor, like a den mother.  While more businesslike than the two guys, she is also quite nice after you get to know her and prove that you're not some asshole that rolled in from the street.
