A Worthwhile Change of Pace

Made a Friday night visit to Kandy’s Adult Playground recently while passing through on a trip. As someone who does most of his life in larger cities, the change of pace that is Kandy’s can be refreshing, though it’s far from without its faults.

Located 15-20 miles south of Erie on US-19, Kandy’s is an 18+, fully nude, BYOB club which is easily accessible to people living in NW PA, and the areas of Western NY and Northeast OH closest to the state line. Cover is $10 weeknights and early arrival Friday/Saturday, $20 late arrival Friday Saturday.

The club balances the feel of a neighborhood dive bar with the full contact, private room focus of a lapdance factory. The club has a large main stage with multiple instruments beyond the pole that dancers use during their stage sets. Seating includes a bar section, a large stageside pervert’s row, and a couple of stadium seating with a drink rail opposite the bar. None of the seating is terribly comfortable and there aren’t tables for sitting and talking with a dancer. Additionally, the club has an outdoor fire pit and volleyball court for additional entertainment. I’ve never witnessed it, but have seen the club advertise naked volleyball during good weather.
