New name, same problems
So this was my first time going to this club since it rebranded from NY Showgirls to Mustang Sally's and besides the signage there was really no cosmetic difference in the "new" club. Same layout with a main central stage with 2 vip areas to either side of the main entrance, a smaller stage to the left of the stage when viewed from the bar at the back of the club, booths to the right side and tables in front the bar.
Came through on a Saturday night from about 11:30 and there was a smattering of patrons with 2 main groups: one congregating in a booth by the DJ and another at a table. There were 3 girls out on the floor who appeared to be on shift: 1 was with the group in the booth, 1 was with the group at the table and 1 was at the bar on her phone snacking on Doritos.
I was there for almost hours saw the rotation of dancers, 2 of whom had professional photographers snapping them on stage (presumably for Instagram since they kept their tops on).
Three girls took the stage while I was there although there was a screen showing a roster of 5 girls for the night that counted down their time on stage as well as the time before they took the stage which was a nice addition. One dancer was occupied for the entire time I was there with one guy in the VIP who kept coming out to re-up after his 30 min were up. Don't know why he didn't just pay up front for a longer time... Seemed weird and inconvenient to keep coming back outside to pay for more time. Might've been easier to either have them hold his card until he was ready to tap out.
Anyway at no point while I was there was I approached by any of the dancers. I tipped a couple of the dancers on stage but got no chance to get a lap dance. I couldn't understand why on a Saturday night were these girls not trying to make money because I was there ready and willing to spend on them.
