An unsually early arrival (about 7:30) showed the Mons, which induces claustrophobia anytime after midnight, in a different light. There was actually a place to park and room to move inside the club. The big drawback is the $20 cover collected all day, but at least there is unlimited return with a hand stamp and the soft drinks are cheap.

In the golden era of the mid-1990's the mileage was considerably higher in the afternoon than at night. While everything is toned down today, I definitely felt more attention was paid to my satisfaction than in recent late-night visits. Maybe its just that without being squeezed together like subway riders at rush hour, the dancers are in a better frame of mind. The two I sampled certainly were.
