Ultra ... interactive
This was the 3rd or 4th time I have visited Ultra since moving to the area a few months ago. My go-to has been Ultra Ora, which has a confusingly similar name to Ultra as you can tell. Don't let the similar names confuse you, though; they are very different clubs. I won't say one is better than the other, it all depends on individual tastes and what you are looking for in a club. I will focus on my recollection of the morning's activities and let you judge.
First, the building itself is okay; when I arrived sometime after midnight, there was plenty of parking, and the area seemed fine. A bouncer was sitting outside in a chair, eating something out of a giant Tupperware bowl. He looked up; I smiled and apologized for interrupting his meal. He did not say anything, so I asked if I was good too, and he just waved me in. I'm old, so ID check wasn't an issue. There was a a cover charge, and I don't remember specifically what it was, maybe $10? It wasn't out of line of what I would expect on a thursday night.
You enter right into the bar that has a row of TVs on top and then a row of high top tables behind you when sitting at the bar. From most seats, but not all, you can see through to the stage and the dancers. In the bar I would estimate there were 8-10 girls, three or four at a high top on their phones, and five or six seated with customers, give or take maybe two or three. I grabbed a drink, and the pricing was consistent with other bars ~$20 for a double gin and tonic.
