I visited OC11 in east Anaheim, California on Friday afternoon July 12, 2024 from about 5:45 to 6:45. The club on Coronado is just a bit west of Kraemer about a mile north of the 91 (Riverside) freeway. There is a large free walled parking lot with shade trees. The club is in an industrial area. No one at the door and no sign of security stuff. A sign on the desk said $10 cover after 9pm. A pair of ATM’s just inside the entrance.

This location used to be a club called Angels Cabaret which I had visited once about 2 years ago. Back then I was told the original owner had recently died. The new owners have extensively refurbished the building and the insides are much nicer than they were previously. Looking at the roof I thought I saw a new air conditioning system. And also the dancers are mostly quite a bit better looking.

The entrance is near one end of a long side of the rectangular building. As you enter the bar is to your left taking up most of the width of the building. There is I believe a kitchen behind the bar, food is advertised but I didn’t see a menu. The men’s room is at the far end of the bar, big enough and clean.. The whole main room is quite large. There is one oval shaped stage in the center with one pole. It is only about a foot off of the ground. The space between the bar and the stage was occupied with tables with smaller density of tables back from the long dimensions of the stage, Along the walls on three sides are booths. Flashing LED lights. There were two normal size and and one huge screen showing sports, although why one would chose NBA summer league in the middle of baseball season is beyond me.
