Chill evening!

Pulled into the Downer lot early evening (about 7), it is a large lot, free always, and on this day mostly empty. I know there have been a few "incidents" here, but I have never felt unsafe.

I walked in just in time to not pay cover (the rate seems to change depending how busy they are). Huge doorman (I mean literally like 7'6") waived me through without cover.

You walk through a little maize to get in the main room, and it takes several minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. To your left there is a bar with a few seats, directly in front of the bar is a stage that crosses most of the room. Lots of seating in different styles (2 seat tables, horseshoe tables, some couches near tv's, etc.) and they are comfortable. Found my way to a seat where I could see the stage and the soccer match on the tv.
