Huntsville Rookie

Was in Huntsville for the first time. Had several hours to kill before my flight home. Grabbed lunch at Texas Roadhouse then decided to see if any clubs close to there, or between there and the airport. Saw this place and one other were just down the street. Also was surprised how many clubs were in Huntsville.

Decided to try Rocket City Showgirls since I noticed online it used to be a Scores. Shares the parking lot with another club, Uncle Bucks. Be careful pulling into lot from street, there’s a part where if you hit it hard enough you could really bottom out your car. Fortunately I noticed this since it was daytime. Parking lot seemed to have a lot of cameras. You could view this as good or maybe a reaction to multiple issues out there.

Went into club. $5 to get in. Gave them a $20. Asked not to get $15 in ones back. I know this is somewhat standard, but I already had ones (should have paid cover that way in hindsight) and for attractive dancers I like to tip with fives. Lady who took my ID (not sure if they scanned or just checked, wasn’t paying attention) told me she only had ones. I explained I sometimes tip on fives and already had ones. No luck. She asked bouncer and he said no luck either. Seemed like they were just humoring me.
