sinclair's Review
I went to Dangerous Curves at 21:00 on a Friday night. This strip club is fully nude and does not have a liquor license. Parking is on the street. The cover charge was $15. You are given a stamp on your wrist for in-and-out access. A can of soda or a bottle of water is included with the cover charge. A can of soda is $3. A bottle of water is $4. Gatorade is $5. Energy drinks and non-alcoholic beers are $7. The desk to buy drinks and the DJ station are to the immediate right when you enter. The stage is along most of the right wall. There is just one pole. The back of the club has the dressing room and the VIP lounge. The private dance room is in an alcove in the left wall of the floorplan. It has a large C-shaped bench that is shared by all patrons getting lap dances. Other than a nonexistent curtain, there is nothing separating the view from the rest of the club. There are cameras in the ceiling and any customer could gaze in. The washrooms and the ATM are along the front wall, which is to your immediate left when you enter. The ATM has a $200 limit per transaction and charges a $6 fee. There is a strict policy against using cell phones inside the club.
There were only three dancers working on Friday night. I was surprised how good looking the dancers were for this club being out in the middle of nowhere; all entertainers were young, fit, and hot. I would guess all three of them were under the age of twenty-one. Dangerous Curves meets the definition of a 7-Up factory. Dancers did three song sets on stage with each getting completely nude by the third song. Stage contact is nonexistent. I got yelled at for having my hands on the stage even though I was tipping like I had just won the lottery; apparently customers’ hands can only be on the drink plank that rests on the side of the stage. Dollars must be tossed on the stage.
