Another disappointed customer

I check in on occasion in hopes of returning to the Hole of old. Not happening.

I arrived around 3:45 on a Thursday and parked in the large relatively empty lot. Walked in with no cover. 2 patrons spread out on the long side of the bar and 1 more on the opposite side. 2 guys playing pool. Bartender sitting by the bar entrance disinterested. Nobody on stage.

There appeared to be 3 WOC in the building. One was talking to a guy at the bar. After 5+ dead minutes another took the stage. Much larger than my liking. I ordered a draft with a $20 and got a stack of 1s in return. I didn’t count but the beer price may have been happy hour. Didn’t matter as there was little talent to tip.

I gave the girl on stage her 3 songs, tipped her $2 and then was forced to watch an empty stage. I finished my beer remembering the old days and left. I left $3 for the bartender and still got in and out for under $20. It appeared that the LD rooms still had no curtains but I wouldn’t know since nobody approached me for a dance. So sad to remember the fools old days.
