Nothing To See Here

I had some time this afternoon/evening, Friday, and decided I'd check for myself about some of the positive feedback I've been seeing here and elsewhere lately. The often mentioned time has been happy hour, so I gave it a go.

There was a second fire in the adjacent building a fes weeks ago, but the club is open. They've re-done the entrance way since the photo of a swamp donkey dancer standing out front smoking circulated as a "If build back better was a strip club" meme went viral last year. All they really did is paint it beige but considering how horrible it had been from decades of neglect, it's now at least passable. The outer door was closed but the inner, vestibule door as open providing a nice AC arrival into the as you enter from the street. There is no happy hour cover charge.

Once inside it's darker than most clubs but not terrible. Immediately to the right of the entrance is the original curtained VIP that's been back in use for some time now. Immediately to tge left is tge small, seldom used stage. Stretching along the right wall is the 12 seat bar that has newer stools with backs that dig into your spinal column if you were ever to lean back for a barside dance. Along the left wall are 4 tables with two chairs each.
