Dead club

I find myself at Delilah's on a Thursday night. Fifteen dollars to enter. It was 9:30 and it was dead, less than 10 customers and at least 20 dancers. This left half the dancers pretty unmotivated to do anything but sit and talk to each other. The foreign girls are here to hustle, so they hit me hard, but I'm not into the immediate wanna dance type approach that they all seem to employ.

The club itself is pretty nice though the seats I tried were all a little worn down. Dust bunny stalagmites hung from the ceiling swaying in the air-conditioning current like anemones in a reef. It was kind of trippy with the red glow of the club’s lighting. By 10:00 they had three dancers on at a time as people started to come in from the Phillies game. The girls dance on a runway style raised stage in the middle of the club. The first girl I saw on stage was a dime. She quickly disappeared with an old guy who appeared to take three girls with him for some fun.

Unfortunately I'd say everyone else was a 6. Not bad, but given the pretentiousness of the club, feels like a disappointment. The ten or so girls I interacted with were too immediate with their hustle, which kind of turned me off, so I left before wasting anymore time.
