Silver Slipper, it's not Vegas, but still not a bad time
So it's been a minute since I've been to the Slipper, or at least reviewed it. I've been a few times over the last couple of years and tend to go on Wed/Thurs and earlier in the evening, so I can't give a solid review of a primetime experience, so I tend not to review those. However this time I was out on a Thursday night after 8PM, so I figured it would be a fair assessment.
The club is basically a country bar motif. Lots of wood on the walls, not much if any black velvet, some legal gambling machines near a pool table on the one side, a long bar on the other and a long stage with 2 poles in the middle. Groups of 3 comfy chairs around small tables to one side of the stage where the gambling is.
They have added some new big white couches in one corner, but I'm not sure if they were 'reserved' or not. No one was sitting in them. 'Dance' area is upstairs along a wall with what is essentially a long bench, with several small box+poles to denote each 'stall'. There are VIP rooms, but I'll get to that later.
