Solid oldie but goodie
I was visiting from out of town and always make it a point to visit two clubs: Little Ds and Palomino. But after reading about the no contact/air dance nonsense at LD, it basically became a one horse race. I arrived at the club on Saturday around 200am (so technically Sunday). While it’s a bit later than my usual entrance time, there were still plenty of dancers and patrons, though I’m sure there were even more earlier in the night.
Cover was $60, which is definitely on the high side, but it at least included two drink tickets. I ended up using them on beers.
The club has two levels. The lower level is where all the energy is and features a central stage with two poles, where sometimes two dancer routines take place. There’s also an adjacent room with a smaller stage that wasn’t in use today. In fact, I’ve ever only really seen it used once in all my times there, so this wasn’t really anything new. The bar is located in the back and is where a lot of the dancers end up hanging out. Ironically, it’s also a good place to hide from dancers if you’re tired of them bothering you. There’s another another bar and stage upstairs, though these weren’t in use either. The upstairs section is mainly a placeholder for the VIP rooms which flank the bar.
