Fun daytime visit to legendary Desire

Got a chance to visit Desire after reading about it on here for years. I guess I was expecting an older rundown club, but it was nice and pretty up to date. It's kinda under the highway in downtown Providence. Free parking and free admission on a Wednesday afternoon.

You walk through a metal detector on your way in, no scanning of IDs. We saw the elevator to Club Lust, but we didn't ask about it, since we were only in town for a day.

Once you enter the club it takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust from the bright sunlight. There are two twin bars, square with about 5 stools on each side. Main stage with a pole, and several tables stage side and around the perimeter. And there is an outdoor patio with couches, in case you want to smoke or just hang outside. Harpoon beers were $7 each.
